Who We Are
Golden Queen Mining Co., LLC (the "Company") operates a gold and silver, open pit, heap leach operation on its Soledad Mountain property, located just outside the town of Mojave in Kern County in southern California. The Project uses conventional open pit mining methods and the cyanide heap leach and Merrill-Crowe processes to recover gold and silver from crushed, agglomerated ore.

Who You Are
You enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You communicate well and work effectively to meet department and company goals. You have at least five years' experience in crushing systems. You can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment including crushers, conveyor belts, conveyors, pumps, motors, pulleys, and gearboxes. You have knowledge of crushing systems, such as cone crushers, jaw crushers, and roller crushers. You have knowledge of conveyor systems, belt alignments, compressor builds and rebuilds. You may have a welding certificate, but it is not required.
As a Plant Mechanic, you would report to the Plant Maintenance General Foreman. This is a safety sensitive position.
What You Do

• Perform maintenance repairs and troubleshoot conveyors and conveyor belts (including stacker conveyors).
• Perform various crushing system maintenance repairs
• Follow preventative maintenance practices for jaw crushers, cone crushers and roller crushers.
• Perform pulley alignment.
• Install, repair, and rebuild pumps, motors, gearboxes, and pulleys.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• 5 years' maintenance experience on conveyor belts preferred.
• 5 years' jaw, cone, and roller crushing systems preferred.
• Able to align belts.
• Able to tear down and rebuild compressors.
• Knowledge of stacker maintenance.
• Knowledge of lubrication on crushing systems.
• Possess journeyman level tools.
• Welding certification a plus.
• Mining experience a plus.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Valid Driver License.
